Terms of Service

Last updated: September 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of LocalToLink, operated by LocalToLink (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

LocalToLink provides temporary public URLs that forward internet traffic to applications running on your local machine. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

2. Acceptable Use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate tunnels that violate these policies without notice.

3. Anonymous Use

The free tier does not require an account. Anonymous sessions are subject to usage limits including session duration, bandwidth, and concurrent connections. We reserve the right to modify limits at any time.

4. No Warranty

LocalToLink is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalToLink and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

6. Termination

We may suspend, terminate, or refuse service to any user or tunnel at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Sessions expire automatically after their allotted duration.

7. Intellectual Property

The LocalToLink name, logo, and website are our property. The CLI is open source under the MIT license. You retain ownership of content served through your tunnels.

8. DMCA

If you believe content accessible through a LocalToLink tunnel infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected] with the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
